Sundays Coupon Inserts Preview for December 10, 2023
Wonder if I should forward this to The Bakersfield Californian so they will make sure there are coupons in the damn paper! Bought two at the corner store and NO coupons in them last week! Do people really stand there at the store and steal them and the store clerks do nothing or does the carrier steal them before they deliver them to the store? I still have not been able to figure it out 🙁
Could be a distribution issue or folks could actually be stealing them. I buy my paper from Dollar Tree stores and I check them before I but them for all the inserts listed on H4F.
I guess I will start checking from now on. The LA Times has a zip tie around it so no one can steal those without it being noticeable. I called the paper too to let them know & was told a supervisor would get back to me….that was Sunday at 8 a.m. & I still have not heard from them.
I completely get what you’re saying 2 weeks in a row now both papers I got had no coupons. My BF got them for me and I have to get on him about checking. He said that he looked and none of them had them. Sad if poeple are stealing them.
Second week in a row for me too! My BF got them for me the first time and I didn’t have the heart to ask him to go back and to check that they were there. This week I went and got them but did not check…at least I bought two LA Times because they had everything, unlike my local paper!
I guess I will stand there and take the paper apart next time to make sure they are there.
Thats because people are stealing them. Stores are now putting them behind the counter and/or in plastic. I know 2 people that didn’t get theirs either and we are at Ft. Sill, OK.
It’s like, just steal the whole damn paper so the next person doesn’t get jipped. I always look in my paper for the coupons. Have been doing that for over 20yrs.
I’m located in northern Oklahoma. I’ve just started getting the Sunday Oklahoman (been many yrs since I have). Do you buy Tulsa World or other papers that have the inserts??
Last week I bought both papers – Okla had 2 of the redplum inserts & nothing else…..guess I’ll start looking before handing over my 2 bucks again!
I get the Oklahomian, but not this last weekend. I only got the Lawton Constitution. It has red plum and smart source.

Wow well you definitely confirmed my suspicions. That takes some gall to stand there and take them out of the papers….I would say something if I saw someone doing that. Of course I also am smart and pick my battles I wouldn’t say it to someone I didn’t think I take down if I had too….LOL!
I always check my paper. There is a little community gas station where I used to live, the owner takes the coupons out of their papers to use for themselves. I’ve seen them in Walmart shopping for things for their store! Of course they jack the prices up a tad when they resell, even after they have saved money from the coupons!
I was told one time that the coupons are for those that have the paper delivered …We also check the paper before we buy them…
