A catalina is a coupon that prints out a the register. The coupon is good for $x.xx amount off your next purchase, any products usually excludes alcohol, tobacco, lottery tickets it will state this on the coupon.
Manufactures will offer deals to recieve the catalina (purchase $x.xx amount and get catalina or purchase x number of product and get catalina.
For example Jewel is offering a Conagra Catalina promotion. Buy $25 of Conagra products and Save $10 on your next shopping trip.
